 Christian Women’s Fellowship annual weekend away with –

Guest speakers – Bible Study – Workshops and much more!

Every February, women from all over the country travel to spend a weekend together in the Derbyshire. So what’s the attraction?

Well, the weekend is the annual Christian Women’s Fellowship conference held at The Hayes Conference Centre at Swanwick in Derbyshire. We meet for our yearly top-off of - Fellowship – Faith  Friendship – Fun and Food!

Christian Women’s Fellowship is a self-organised group of women, mostly from the United Reformed Church, which has its beginnings firmly rooted in Church of Christ traditions. Originally set up to give women the chance to organise and lead worship, the CWF still values the pioneers of the past whilst giving opportunities for modern day women, form all denominations, to shine!  

Be it in leading a workshop session, leading prayer, getting involved in group work or networking in the coffee areas or bar!

Time is set aside on Saturday afternoon for a wide range of 

leisure pursuits -

•  craft activities
•  drama,
• dance
•  creative writing
• choir - sing-a-new song
• prayer

For those who like to chill out there are areas available for coffee and a chat and for those who like to shop, The Hayes is close to the bustling market town of Ripley, Junction 28, a designer outlet, or Denby

factory shop and outlet.

Saturday night is concert night!

Remember Britain’s Got Talent?

Well, so have the ladies  who volunteer to entertain us with their all-singing, all-dancing extravaganzas.

The weekend ends with an act of worship which usually includes elements of the weekend such as the new songs that we have learnt, dance, prayers creatively written and drama.

The conference weekend is an opportunity for women of all ages to meet up, renew and make new friendship, the chance to get involved with worship!
